Finding Local Tracks Near You

One of the biggest barriers to riding is just knowing where to go. Most tracks don't advertise on billboards. Here's how to find them.

Start Online

Search for motocross tracks in your state or region. Sites like MX Sports and local racing organizations usually maintain track directories. Social media groups for your area are another solid source — riders love sharing their spots.

What to Look For

Not all tracks are created equal. Before you load up and drive an hour, check for a few things: do they have practice days? What's the gate fee? Do they require AMA membership? Is there a beginner section? Most of this info is on their website or Facebook page.

Talk to Riders

The best recommendations come from people who actually ride. If you know anyone who rides, ask them. If you don't, show up to a local track on a practice day and introduce yourself. The moto community is generally welcoming to new riders.

Keep a List

Once you find a few tracks you like, keep a list. Note the days they're open, the cost, and how far the drive is. Having options means you ride more often.
